Been in Oxnard forever and I NEVER heard of this option ever! Oh geez, now I gotta go! Doh! Located in East Oxnard, in Colonia, it's on the corner of Cooper Rd. & N. Roosevelt Ave. Private parking lot is small & usually full when I come, so it's always been street parking for me. Sunday is the toughest for parking as there is church services next door all day. It's counter service, and there's a hot food window behind the cashier, that's where you drop your order. I've ordered in Spanish and English, nothing lost in translation every time. Aright, let's eat! BURRITO, CARNE ASADA: Good sized burrito, got it with light on the rice and light on the beans, added cheese for some ooey gooey fun! Carne asada was flavorful, juicy, not dry at all. My munchkin (12 y/o) couldn't even finish half. Yeah son, this ain't no Taco Bell burrito. lol BURRITO, POLLO DORADO: WHOA! This bad boy was BIG! No beans or rice for this one, added cheese, pico de gallo and their version of avocado salsa! Basically Pollo dorado is fried chicken chopped up with skin included so there's a nice crunchy texture to it, with all the chicken chunks moist and tasty. I REALLY enjoyed this! Their salsa had some nice heat to it, too. Yeah, gotta say... pretty darn good! EASY RECOMMENDATION! Another Mexican eatery to add to Oxnard's list of solid Mexican restaurants. Friendly staff here to help you with your order. The only thing that is different from other burrito places 'round here, was no tortilla chips were given with your hot food order. That's okay, though, I'll take a bigger burrito over small burrito & chips any day! Enjoy ;) ”

“ Great little grocery store and take out food location in East Oxnard. Whenever we need something real quick from the grocery store- this my first stop. They have a good selection of Mexican cuts of meats such as carne asada and ranchera. The highlight of the grocery store is it's small kitchen. They make very savory Mexican food. I've tried all the different tacos and tortas. The ones made of lengua that's beef tongue as well as tripe. The food is all made fresh in front of you. It's pretty authentic Mexican food. Almost homemade, almost. ”
